Enjoying new car

Well we flew into Dallas and Gil McDaniel from Grubbs picked my family and I up from the airport and we went and picked up our new 05 G35 sedan I got Ivory pearl with the stone interior and so far I am loving the car not as quick as my STI but wasn't expecting it to be. The car made for a nice ride from Dallas to Arkansas nice and smooth. Everybody thinks I am rich or something because of it not sure why maybe because I now live in Arkansas...The only thing that is bothering me is the odd noise it makes when you shut it off it sounds like gears winding down with no oil I checked the oil and it is fine is there a way to check the fluid in the tranny? It is a 6mt. The car more or less will be the wife's I picked up a 91 Toyota pickup 4wd I am planning on lifting it later this year once I work out some of the things wrong with it. I will post up some pictures once I get my house un-packed. We moved from Hawaii they packed up our stuff on 14/15 July and we just got our things yesterday (2 Sept) and our new house is not big enough for all our things. I think the only thing I'll do to it is get the windows tinted and leave it as is..

Congrats on the new ride, Lunnzz. Pics pics when you get time....

and a belated welcome to our site.

The tranny fluid can be checked by an overflow/filler but if you're doubtful about it, have the dealer check it out... 2 minute job for him .

Modded or stock you've got a gem bro....

Best of luck with the new home and 'unpacking'

C.

You moved from Hawaii to Arkansas? That's must be a big change. Hope the rest of your move goes smooth and I'm sure you will enjoy your new G.

Congrats and welcome! Good luck with getting settled in and adjusting to what has to be a huge culture shock!

Moving here was not my choice.. I am from a small town in Florida so it is not too different here and I lived in Tacoma WA for 7 years so I am used to change and I am sure if I have anything to do with it we will be moving again in two years or so..I found my camera but the battery is dead so I'll get some new ones and snap some pictures.
