Blinker Mod
Blinker Mod
Blinker Mod took about 45 mins. Very easy to do, and looks very nice. For the sedan you tap the black wire from the Corner to the Green w/ Yellow stripe wire on both sides. Didnt take long at all to do. Video located below

I really just went off this site.

Do not follow the instructions that tell you to tap into the purple wire and green wire. For the Sedan its Green w/ Yellow stripes for both sides!!!
The directions he has are kinda hard to follow, but you cut the Black wire going to the sidecorner and strip the side tats connected to the side corner.
Use speaker wire and connect it to the black wire coming from the corner light. Use a wire tap and tap into the Green w/ yellow stipes wire and then tap it up wit electrical tape. Its a good idea to cap off the black wire going into the cornor lights bc you wont need it anymore, its just a ground. Pretty much you are re-routing the black wire coming out of the corner light to the green, yellow stripe wire. Its really easy to do I did it with the wheel on, but it would be alot easier if you take off the wheel.
Lights on, with no turn signal activated:
- side marker illuminates just as it does stock
Lights off with turn signal activated:
- front turn signal and side marker flash TOGETHER
Lights on with turn signal activated:
- front turn signal and side marker ALTERNATE
Hazards
- Same as above, just on both sides!

just finished my side marker mod... a bit challenging for me since i'm not the DIY type with automobiles (give me a knife or a firearm... i'm comfortable there...
)
the most concering part was using my floor jack and trying not to damage the jack siles... WHAT A STUPID WAY TO JACK UP A VEHICLE!!! it's asinine!
well, after cutting a few smaller pieces of wood to avoid damaging the jack siles, i was able to jack my G35 up.
now, the second hurdle i encountered was removing the removeable clips... for a long time, i tried and wondered how the clips were removeable. i figured it out. in the center of the clip is a portion u can pop out with the flat head screwdriver. i do have an excuse... my car was undercoated, so it was difficult to see the center portion of the clip.
after that, i pretty much followed the instructions at http://www.6mt.net/mod-g35-sidemarker.php...
except that i didn't need to unscrew the 10mm bolts on the bottom of the vehicle. i just bent the wheel well cover to access the wires.
the rest was easy... i did triple check every wire i was about to cut. the driver's side took awhile, but the passenger side went fast... less than 20 min. all together it took 1hr 15 min including figuring out how to safely jack my G35 up.
well worth the effort! make sure u have the right tools though.
by the way, the driver's side is GREEN/WHITE and the passenger side is PURPLE/WHITE... on my vehicle, the wires were different colors on either side and the same colors as the DIY listed above.
