2007 Motor Trend Future Vehicle Forecast

http://motortrend.com/future/spied/1...vf/index5.html

On Motor Trend's 2007 Future Vehicle Forecast page it says:

2007 Infiniti G35: Exterior freshening.

It doesn't say "Redesign" or "All-new".

Yea, personally I don't think Infiniti is going to redesign the G for '07.

I don't think it makes sense for them to re-do the body every 4 or even 5 years. Their sales are very strong on this car...so why fix it if it ain't broke?

I think they are taking a page from BMW's book, just tweaking it here and there every year. I think by '09 we'll see a complete redesign...but this is all my opinion so I could be wrong.

I've heard the G35 will be re-done in 07, possibly introduced at the end of 06. BMW's new, Audi's new, the IS350's new ... it's time for the next gen of G

I'm sure they will change the look quite a bit but probably not a total redesign.

I don't see why Infiniti would go with 4 year cycle when the TL and IS are both on 5 year cycle models. Do they mean 07 model year or calendar year?

I agree from what I hear it will be a 08 possibly even 09 Model year before a totally new G arrives, the G is only in its 3rd model year (05) despite the 03 changes mid year. This car is still very popular and is always in the top 3 of most comparos.

That's one of the worst things about buying a new car. In less than 2 years, you see something you'd rather have. At least that's the way it's been for me.

well comparing w/ '04 to '05 they changed the front headlights, bumper, fenders, hood, grille, rear tailights, trunk, rear bumper, and side sills are painted for exterior upgrades. '06 won't be much on the sedan with the addition of bluetooth
