1. City- 20 ish
2. Highway- 28 +
3. Mixed- 22-24

And, can you run lower than premium fuel? Ihave but I mostly run premium.

I am not much of a lead foot and that has a major impact on mpg. The harder/more aggressive you drive, your mpg goes down quickly. it's a fun car to drive hard, but you pay for it at the pump.

I get between 18-19 MPG with about 20% highway driving. Usually my computer states 18.8 mpg.

Nothing is wrong with the car, its the driver. I owned 2 G35s and both got the same gas mileage with my 05 a hair better.

I have been using 87 octane since the hurricane fuel price jump and I am getting about 21 mpg and have no performance losses. Not sure why... My old Acura TLS was easy to tell when it was on low octain.

G has the worst gas mileage out of the lot, I hate that I use to get 14.5mpg in the city and about 18-18.5 mixed, on the highway around 24mpg...the Acura TL has better gas mileage..anyhow..the car is great but except for 3 things..1. Gas Mileage 2. Rattles and 3. When you take off with a light foot, it seems as if you are driving a truck..It should feel much lighter and smoother..

And whats up with the Vette getting upto 30MPG, isnt that a shame for other cars with 1/2 the HP and power and getting 1/2 the gas mileage..

In Los Angeles, I do mostly city driving. I've been average 20 mpg. If I take my G a longer (less traffic) drive, I can average 24-25 mpg. I am not an aggressive driver. I shift around 3-4k rpm. Once in a while, I do a WOT tho.

Almost 10K miles...

City driving, around 19 (no grandma here).
Hwy, around 28 (75-80 mph cruise).

Just a little more heavy footedness will get you in the upper rpms where consumption really jumps.

Yeah I think you've described my problem right there. I don't think I could live in the lower rev band any more, I have to know the engine is still running, and what better way to make sure my CAI didn't fall off yet than listening to it at every opportunity?
