Question Vibration in upshift from automatic - 2005 G35x

Has anyone experienced occasional rough shifts from the automatic when it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear - usually under medium or heavy acceleration...? Once in a while, if I decide to give more throttle while moving, say @ 5 mph through a toll, and then suddenly increase the throttle; the car will shift roughly from 1st to 2nd gear only. It will actually vibrate and shake the entire dashboard during this instance - again it only happens once in a while and will happen w/or w/out the A/C on.

Comments...?

The only harshness I've experienced is in manual mode under hard acceleration. The 1-2 can be a bit firm, but nothing like what you describe.

Other than that it's like a baby's behind.

I've noticed some of what you described - but only with the 2->3 shift. In full auto I sometimes feel vibration if i'm adding throttle during the 2-3 shift. In manual mode it's not vibration, it's a hard shift that seems to shock the drivetrain under certain throttle conditions.

Ya, this is different than the manual mode "quick shift" that happens under hard acceleration at times.

Nothing like you describe, but..
I've noticed that you can fool it & cause a rough shift.

When accelerating, if you ease off a little ( ie slow traffic)
& happen to shift up, it can be kind of rough.

The only rouch shift i experience in my 05 x is from 2-3. Seems to happen more when it is cold but I have gotten it to happen after about 20 minutes at 75...
