Re: 2004 G35 models

The first orders for 2004 models were placed on June 7th for end-Aug or early September delivery. The next orders were placed earlier this week for late-Sept or early October delivery. There will probably be a small price increase on the sedan and a larger price increase on the coupe.

Enhancements to the 2004 G35 Sport Sedan include:
• Standard heated outside mirrors on all models
• 17-inch wheels now standard on all models
• Improved standard 6-disc CD changer (with faster operation)
• Standard Tire Pressure Monitor System
• Standard rear limited-slip differential on Leather 6MT model
• Heated front seats and 4-way power front passenger's seat standard on Leather, Leather 6M/T models
• Engine will meet LEV2 standard for emission control (beginning with October production)
• Two new exterior colors – Diamond Graphite, Twilight Blue (previously available).

Enhancements to the 2004 G35 Sport Coupe include:
• New front center console for Coupe Leather 6M/T model (adds center armrest and an additional front cupholder)
• Improved standard 6-disc CD changer (with faster operation)
• Standard Tire Pressure Monitor System
• Engine will meet LEV2 standard for emission control (beginning with October production)
• Twilight Blue exterior color added

The 6mt sedan updates sound good to me! The inclusion of LSD is certainly welcome. I'll take one! ... let's just hope every bit of em are *official*.

Do you think we could get the dealer to add the LSD in our sedan for a small cost? I'm glad to see LSD in the sedan finally, but for early adopters it doesn't seem fair.

it'll really seem unfair when in 05 they possibly offer a 300-330 hp version of sedan. There must be something in the works to compete with volvo hp.

Yes it is called the GTR and from what I hear it will be out in late 05. Hope this is true.

I tried to looking at the autochannel website. Couldn't find the info like you said. Could you direct me to the webpage or just tell me how to search for this info. The website is really not user friendly and is way too crowded.

Re: 2004 G35 models

Gster,

I asked my dealer how much an LSD would cost, and the cost of the part alone is $1800. It would be an expensive upgrade. Hopefully, an aftermarket lsd will be available to us early adopters.

Re: 2004 G35 models

Go to www.theautochannel.com.

Scroll down to "Wednesday, 09 July 2003". Halfway down the list is "2004 Infiniti - Charting thre changes" (my spelling mistake on purpose). Scroll past stuff on Q45, M45, FX etc to get to G35.

Re: 2004 G35 models

Thanks, got the webpage was lookin for..
One more question which is better ....sport suspension or the normal. It's not a big difference in price. I test drove both, felt the sport suspension was better but Ive heard that it is bumpier .. is it true?. Also what about in the long run is the sport package better than just having premium?
