After 3 months, my supercharger is finally installed, tuned, and running right.

I installed the Stillen Stage 3 supercharger. It took me about 20 hours to do. It was a pain installing the main serpentine belt, and stillen sent me a defective pulley which shredded my belt real fast. I could probably do the whole install now in about 10 hours. After it was installed I dynoed it and it was a dissapointing 279 to the wheels.

After troubleshooting it was found the stock fuel pump was loosing pressure under boost and my car was running lean 13.2:1. I had a walbro 190lph pump installed and my injectors cleaned at RC engineering. As a result, the AF ratios dropped to 11.7:1 and the car was much stronger. I also installed a fujitsubo exhaust, B&M tranny cooler, and Stillen Valve body all at the same time. Last night I finished up the last mod which was an electronic fan conversion.
The car is running really good and has lots of power. The car is so much more fun to drive. I can light up the tires in all of first gear. I'm pretty sure its putting down about ~310, but the torque is where this thing shines, it has gobs of torque that starts way down low.

I finally got the hood painted and my wheels back to get to the finished product.

One of the main reasons why I didn't want to go Stillen was because of the hood. I've changed my mind about that now because I think it actually looks good in my particular setup. The sedan lines work well with the stillen hood more so than a 350z or even a coupe.

here are some photos.....

let me know what you think...

I'll probably hit up Infineon raceway on one of the wednesday night drags. Probably in a month or so. I'm guessing it would be in the low 13s.

Sukhi, very nice job. I think the hood looks 1000 times better color matched. Wise choice. Get back to the dyno and let us know your official stats.

Congrats bro!

Sukhi,

Your Sedan looks great. How the electric fan conversion working out? Did the ambient temp get hot enough to verify the A/C fan start sequence?

Hey Sukhi, as usual I enjoyed reading your post. Your car looks really nice, and I agree with you about the hood. It does look better on the sedan. hmmm, maybe I'll get one and fool guys on the road into thinking I got the supercharger.

Congrats!

Great job! Your G looks excellent. I trust the supercharger yields good results. That car must be a blast to drive. Congrats!

It's working out good so far. It kicks on a little while after the AC is turned on and it shuts off when i turn the AC off, but if it was still hot the fan then turns back on. The only thing I did notice was that when the fans turn on, I can feel some vibration inside the car. I think I may need to secure the shroud a little more than the two clips on the bottom and two screws on the top.

I'm shipping the shroud to you today.....

BTW,
If anyone is looking to do a mechanical fan conversion to an electric fan which all the Zs, coupes and 04 and up Sedans have, then talk to DaveO. Really good person to deal with. He's done his homework on this stuff. Top quality service!.

Very nice ride. The hood doesn't look too bad either.

Not to dissappoint you, but I think 13.7-13.9 is more realistic, especially if you choose to run the larger rims. If you've never been to the track, I'd say lower 14s.
