When I compare driving my 2004 6MT (currently at 7k miles) to our 2005 Corvette 6 speed (currently at 3k miles0, oddly enough, the Corvette clutch takes HALF the force to depress. Always a stick owner, that was the first thing I noticed about the "G" was the "Semi-Truck" clutch..

First, the G is RWD and the hondas and such (cept the vette, defender etc) are FWD.

Second, the G's clutch is designed for performance, that is why you bought the 6mt and not the 5at. A firm clutch is good, means positive engagement RIGHT NOW.

Adjust your clutch pedal height, do a search. It is easy, takes 10 minutes the first time. That will make your effort seem easier and allow better modulation of the clutch while backing and initially starting. My clutch pedal now sits about 3-4 inches off the ground and has been that way for 50k miles.

The gearbox should be easy but not silky smooth. if it isn't, then take it to the dealer. my first two trannies were not easy to shift at all, but the third one was worth the wait and trouble.

Flame me if you want but stop the girly man whining. you are driving a performance oriented rwd car, not a fwd techno luxury speedster like the TL.

Learn to drive the best you can with what you got.
