How many have done 03 driver seat TSB on a 05 sedan?

The seat controls are starting to get annoying after driving for a while. Luckily I'm not feeling pain like some other people, but I feel constant pressure in my thigh/***. I'm thinking of ordering the urethane pad and perform the 03 driver seat TSB myself. I will also bend the metal bracket as instructed here:

Anybody else done this on a 05?

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin

I have an 03 sedan, but I did not get the TSB done. Basically the dealer did not know of any. Imagine that! Since I had minor discomfort, I just pushed on the seat support/controls with my hands toward the center console. If you push it too much, it will rub against the center console. Not a whole lot of room between the console and the seat. It probably bent the brackets about 1/4". That was enough for me. No TSB and I didn't have to remove the seat. Just a thought! Good luck.

Yeah I tried to bend the bracket by hand, but wasn't able to. I put my knee on top of the left bolster and pushed as hard as I could the seat control area with my hand. The seat controls would touch the console, but when I stopped pushing they would return to the original position.

I just went to Vermont from South Jersey this week. I encountered the dreaded thigh discomfort for the 1st time. Although it didn't become downright painful it did get to be slightly annoying. I am 6' and 220lbs. I drove approx 7.5hrs before stopping each way. And needless to say my thigh appreciated the fuel stops.
I will more than likely look into doing this alteration if I keep this car over 5 yrs.
