Recall

I am at the dealership now for a oil change and they told me there has been another recall. Something about a tail light. This is the 4th recall I have heard about. How many have you had??

Re: Recall

Yes, it was the break switch thing. I also have not ever gotten a recall notice. Kind of a drag. I'll need to talk to them about it. I had 3 recalls the last service trip and one this time.

Re: Recall

Guys, guys, guys! It's "brake switch", not "break switch"! This is driving me crazy!

Re: Recall

i brought my car in for this brake recall and they screwed up my brakes. My brake lights go on all the time now. I'm doing 80 at night and i see the red glow of my 3rd brake light on. Bringing it back to Infiniti tomorrow.

Re: Recall

i've only had 1 recall and it was for putting on safety caps for the headlights. something about making them tamper proof? it took them 3 hours to do the recall work/oil change and they gave me the very nice FX45 as a loaner. =)

Re: Recall

I had my 2003.5 6MT sedan in for its first oil change last week and asked about the brake switch recall because I hadn't gotten any notice yet. The tech checked and said my car was not among the recalls. My car arrived the very end of April, so it would seem that not all the cars are affected. He didn't say which ones were or weren't, though. Maybe that's why not all of us have gotten recall notices.
