BAd Tint, Need HELP!!!

SO I got my windows tinted a while ago, about a month now. My front windows are okay, no bubbles, except 1 on the rear window thats hardly noticeable. But my rear windsheild had a big group of them, so I took it back to the tint guys and they replaced it with new tint. But now its been almost a week and there are new bubbles. I saw them the first day, and none has gone away. They are spead out, maybe about 20 in all. But I know these tint bastards wont do it again, they are like, "You can't expect to have a perfect job, blah blah...theres always going to be a bubble or two. Just bull****.

My question is..is there any thing I can do to get rid of the bubbles? Any one know any methods of getting rid of them?

These guys in norcal called Kidwells glass suck ***. Both locations suck *** and are full of excuses, no one should ever go to them. I went because my brother got his ast 2 cars tinted there and they are fine. But mine, well, it sucks. Just want to find a way of gettign rid of these imperfections, som maybe I dont have to put out another $120 (for ther rear alone) getting it done somewhere else. I put out 230 total for all my windows, wat crap.

They DO suck! Go back and tell them that they have to use glue on the "dots" on the rear winsheld. Any tint shop worth their salt should know that. You would probably be better off not taking it back to those burners because they are just going to stroke your car a third time. There is a thread on this forum that talks about the glue, you should print it out and hand it to them - then give them the finger and walk out. I'm sure that if you give your location, people on this board could point you towards a good shop.

as long as its still fresh, go ahead and take a needle and try and poke a small hole in them and push the air out with your fingernail, it may already be too late though.

Yo Meto...your getting hosed man. Here in Socal my tint place charges a lot less than you paid and they give a lifetime warranty. There is absolutely no reason why a tint place couldn't fix their crappy work. Just like other members said...they should just glue or pop the air bubbles and squeegee over it. Make sure they get it right, and I wouldn't pay them another dime if I were you man.

Did you leave the car sitting in the sun for a few hours? That took care of any tiny bubbles I had in the first few days of getting a new tint. And they WONT say "there's no perfect tint job". If they do, I'd be glad to show them my car, I have zero bubbles and the guy that did it is a star.

What kind of tint was it? Was it a 3M product?

My tinter didnt use any glue. Just the regular adhesive from the tint. The installer did have to use some tape on my 3rd light area to keep any dust out of the tint.

Where in norcal are you? I used Auto Mall Tint Specialist. They are located in Fremont, if you're near there. Talk to Sidney.
