By the way, killer, I did a search for your previous posts, and by the one below, I could not agree more with my statement:
"you are going to write a letter about the seat causing you pain in the right leg? wtf! why dont you have a lawyer call them and sue for back problems because the seat arent as comfy as a benz.... "

Honestly, man, you sound like a real penny pincher. I think if you found a brand new turbo for $2000, you'd try and talk it down to $1995. Sounds like you should have done research on this stuff before you committed to buying a G35 in the first place.
The G 35 was a lot cheaper than the Cobra that I had, and I spent thousands modding the Cobra. I think that you identify yourslef with Killerlexus. It is not How much you spend, but how well you spend it.
you know, i have a similar view. maybe he's coming on too strong about never paying full price, and always haggling over a better deal. but how many times do we see guys paying $1200 for cams, $5000 for superchargers, $60 for clear corners, $350 for sway bars, and so on? he's a little behind the power curve, i've been researching parts since 6 months before i bought my g. that would make it 2 1/2 years. and i still learn from the fellows here at g35driver and other forums. i guess i'm not looking hard enough...
Exactly Jasper! We spent thousands of dollars of mods, which is fine, but who in their right mind would pay more, when a better deal can be had? How do you think that Dell and Bill Gates, made it? The mark-up on some of these parts are 100,'s %. I have worked for several car dealers, and the markup on accessories is outrageous.
For exmaple, I just bought another car for my wife. When I was in the F/I dept, they wanted to sell me an alarm for $499.99, guess what their cost was: $189!!! A touch of Class paint sealant, retail is $599.00, dealer cost = $100.00! Get the picture. Sure there are very few fools out there who would pay retail or even close to that, and I pity those people.

The problem that I am having, is that I have never paid retail for anything, and I think that it is an insult to do so.
I bet not one of you paid MSRP for your G35, and if you did, I really feel sorry.

Lots of hostility on the boards recently, why not just point him to the most frequented G35 parts sites...
