Shopping for new wheels/tires

Before the "use the search button" flames start rolling in I'll tell you now ... I did search!

Now here is what I need help with:

I have a 2005 G35 Sedan. I have installed the TEIN H-Tech springs for a 1.2" front drop and a 0.7" rear drop. At least that's what the TEIN site said. Right now I am running factory 18's on 235/45-18 Goodyear Eagle NCT Tires (pics here ). I like everything about the current setup accept the size of the wheels. I'd like to keep the same ride height but just use more wheels to take up that space as opposed to tire.

Now I don't know anything about camber, clearance, and offsets. So I would like some suggestions on what wheels size/tire size I need to accomplish my goals. As for the wheel and tire size, if I use the tire size calculator it tells me that if I want to run 20's I need to have 245/35-20 tires so that it takes up the same amount of space in the wheel well. I have also looked at the Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart but don't exactly understand it.

Am I on the right track? Can you guys give me some tips/hints?

Thanks!

Couple of questions before I can suggest something for you.

do you want same size all around or staggered?
19's or 20's?

I think I'd like to go with 20's all around. That way I can have more options when tire rotation comes around.

Then I can recommend own set up which is a perfect fit.

20x8.5 +35 offset w/ 245/35/20

You mentioned you lowered your car. Have you had an alignment done since? This may correct any alignment issues you could have from lowering your G. This will also let you know if you have any camber issues. I would definitely have an alignment done BEFORE you drive around on those new EXPENSIVE tires.

Good to hear. Since there is no camber adjustment in the front you may have a bit of negative camber there. This can be corrected with camber adjustable a-arms or you can leave it if it's not too severe. Since you plan on getting the same size wheel/tire combo front and back you will be able to rotate your tires and extend tire life.

The rotation options is one of the driving factors for me ...

As for my camber issues ... they are all in the back.

Interesting since you did not lower that much in the rear. The good news is there is a little camber adjustability in the rear. Hopefully, the alignment will remedy your issues.
