A statement of the G35- great cornering!

All,

I live in Chicago. We have a highway in the city that goes right by the lake called Lake Shore Drive. On "The Drive", there's a real steep turn that people usually have to slow down at, near Grand Ave. Those here would know.

Everytime I go on that curve, EVERY car's brake light slows comes on. With the G35, I just race through at 50-55 mph and the car does not even budge! That, my friends, is an amazing testament for the car's ability to corner like a stealth cat! It truly is amazing how well the car handles..

The upgraded Stillen sway bars allow it to handle even better!

I take that route Southbound every morning. It is a very tight s-turn notorious for accidents (esp. in the winter.)

I'll keep my eyes peeled for your IP sedan!

Agreed a buddie of mine has one. I love the way it goes around corners. I my self have an Audi TT. Diffrent car but I would say that I might lean towards a G if I go for a Sedan.

There's a tight sweeping turn on my home from work that I like to take fast. It's in Houston in the middle of the construction at I10 and Beltway8 if anyone is interested. While others are slowing way down, I'm speeding up and changing lines. The road surface is not that smooth but the G35 stays planted like stink on a turd. Sadly, that's the only fun part of my commute.

+1 on the Stillen Sways. I've got an '05 Sedan with Sport Suspension and was frankly pretty dissappointed in the handling - mucho understeer and body roll. Bought the Stillens and had them set up soft/front and medium/rear, and it's like an entirely different car. What a ball! Now, if I can get a decent set of tires on there, I'll be golden. (Death to the Turanzas! )

I set mine soft up front and hardest in the rear. What a monster it is now! It feels like F1 in the turns, unbeatable!!!

I thought the suspension was great.. until I replaced it with revised 350z springs and shocks and let me say. WOW. The car rides on rails - any body roll we had before is now eliminated. But CAUTION - ride will become extremely harsh!

Good input. I'm still in the process of "tuning" my suspension set up. The Stillen Sways made a huge difference, but I still feel some sense of "pushing" on ramps and hard corners. I'll be swapping out the stock Sport springs for either 350Z OEM (revised) or Tein H-Techs (350Z). The Teins won't be as stiff in the rear as your revised 350Z springs (427lbs....yikes!), but will be firmer in front. Anybody with experience with both of these setups? I REALLY want to get this right!
