Hey guys - I am looking to purchase an Infiniti spoiler for my G35x sedan. My dealership wants $800 for this part which includes installation. Is this a fair price? Can I purchase the spoiler from somewhere else and have my Infiniti dealer install it?

You should be able to find this cheaper. The price for the 2005 Aero package from the factory is $500.00 and it includes air deflectors under the car.

 

There are places on ebay that sell them painted for around $140. One of them looks to be very good quality and is a platinum seller with lots of good feedback. I'm going to order one for my 03 Sedan this week.

 

Yeah, but that's installed at the factory. The dealer has to paint and install the piece. That price is kind of high considering that you can buy the spoiler paint for less than $500 from places like everythingg35.com. You can then get the dealer or some other shop to install it and still pay under $800.
