My wife calls it the "keep me out of the bars" hobby... and doesn't even bother to ask what some have questioned --- "Why??"

Cru is right - there isn’t much you can do for a mere $1000, but it is a start… in small increments at a time you can add some things that will give you better track times. As others have indicated, the money spent on mods should be considered a hobby or entertainment. It's clean, safe fun – not an investment. But the car in general is a cost component, not an investment.

At least he's not spending a grand on strippers when he tells you he's at the track (or maybe he is ).
I'll have you know that I got those ET's I've been after just last night. I would scan the timeslip, but I apparently thought it was a dollar bill and tipped a stripper with it.

Forever and always the smart@$$.

There is no mystique in visiting the strippers anymore (at least I don't think) since he knows he can go whenever he wants. The only catch is that I don't let him go alone - can't make it too easy for him now can I?

Sshhhhhh!!!

She's not supposed to know about you and me. And by your own statement, that implies you're the catcher.
