Has anyone installed a set of underpulleys for their G35? I would like to know if you noticed an increase in horsepower and if you have experienced any trouble with small pulleys for your alt and waterpump.

I have had the crank pulley for about a year now (15k) no problems yet. The only power increase is on the highway the car pulls better at higher speeds.

Thanks for your response. I am assuming you are still using the stock belt since you only changed your crank pulley. I was thinking about doing the whole set which would also change the pulley size for the alt and waterpump.

When you change the crank you do have to change two belts. Because the pulley is smaller.

Been running my UR Crank pulley for 14k miles, np. Immediate difference felt...less lag, more responsive. Unfortunately, did a few mods during that period, so no comparo dynos to show for it. However, I did change out the belt.

If you have a sound system, and go for the full pulley set, you might want to look into a a/m alternator.

Cheers, Ted

Quote: I work for Inskip Infiniti as a parts advisor, and we just finished installing a complete set of Stillen Underdrive pulley set and not only does it look better but you can feel it pull more at higher RPMs. We put in a stage 3 supercharger, hi flow intake, new hood scoop, ground wires, cat back exhaust, headers and we just finished the pulleys. We did need to replace the belts with shorter belts. So far no probelms!!! Our delearship only uses Stillen products because it will not void your factory warrenty. Anymore questions give me a shout. I can get this set for $399.00 +tax delivered to your door. (blue, black, silver, red)

Stillen pulleys don't void the factory warranty I don't believe it. If there is a problem related to any mod like this, with any underdrive pulley, the warranty is void. Are you also inferring that the Supercharger will also not void the warranty If you are, I don't know what your smokin'.

One group of UDP owners swear the UDP improves lowend. Then you have group says it improves high rpm power. Which is it

I have all three on my 03 5AT sedan. Car feels much more lively throughout rev range. Sorry no dyno results and no problems at all. Make sure you get the right belt sizes. Early 03 with mechanical fan needs largerer belts than those with electric fan. At least mine did. Belts that came with pulley set were too small for my car. Ordered from conceptzperformance with belts. Had to return belts, could not get them on. Everything fine now.
