Are most of you Sedan boys running "staggered"??
I know this is an old topic around here, but I've been getting conflicting reports on the virtues of staggered wheel setups. How many of you Sedan boys are running staggered, and what are the pros/cons (other than tire wear) of the staggered approach? I've heard quite a few suggest that overall handling won't be as crisp.....is this true? -T
I run a staggered set up mostly for the look. I have heard that running the wider rears make for more understeer but in my case, going to the wider tires over the skinny stock goodyear's improved the cornering dramtically.

Nope - running 245's all around. I don't think there are that many running staggered - can't think of anyone off hand that I recall mentioning it.
Bet it looks sweet with those 19's though.

after the winter im gonna be getting 20s staggered, i would get 19s but i dont think it looks too great with the big gap, unless you drop the car and i dont feel like messing with the suspension

I have a set of 18" iForged Aero polished aluminum wheels that are 18x8 +35 in front (with Continental Contisport 235/45/18 tires) and TWO SETS of 18x9 +52 rears (one with almost new 275/40/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, and the other with a set of 265/40/18 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radials for drag racing). Since I recently traded in my car, these wheels/tires are FOR SALE. Send me a PM if interested.

I'm running a staggered set-up. 8.5 in front and 9.5 in the rear. I did it for looks. If you are planning on tracking your car, you might want to stay away from the stagered setup. Also you can't rotate the tires so your tire life would be diminished. I don't put too much milage on my car so I wasn't all that worried about not being to rotate the tires.
