This offset was recommended by the 2 tecs at Volk. They have +36 and +46 in these wheels and the +46 was what was recommended. They said that this offset would look the best and have the best fitment. If this is wrong, I can call them and change it before they get sent out if needed. Please advise

I will call them again today before they ship just to confirm this info. Two different volk reps (on two different days) offered that info about my sedan stating that I would have a better fitment with the +46. Maybe they were being over careful to insure a perfect fit. Thanks for the info. Cru, are your wheels with the +36 offset pretty flush, with not much to none sticking outside the fenders?? Thanks again for the info. I see you have the Bridgestones but they don't offer them in 245/35/19 only 245/40/19. Any other brands you recommend for thread life, comfort and drivablitlity. I done a search and have gotten much conflicting info. Thanks, Jason

I am running +38 with 245/40 tires and I have no rubbing at all. They look nice and flush. Another 2mm should not be a problem.
Here are some pics that kinda show what I'm talking about...
As far as tires go, the Bridgestones are all I know. I have heard good things about Toyo tires as well.

Well, called volk (Macken) and spoke to two other tecs and I was told the same thing. +46 offset is safer bet with these particular volks. Both offsets have the same size lip and the can guarantee no fender rolling (or other modification) will be needed. I called 4 local Volk distrubutors here in Orlando and I was given the same info, that the sedan (with theses volks) need mid +40 offset. I went ahead and had them ship the +46 because 10mm is only a bit more than 1/4 of an inch. No biggie. I guess I will look into Toyo, Nitto, Faulkens and Michelin.
Thanks again for the info and Cru, your car looks awesome!!

I think you'll really be happy with the volk GT-V's. My brother ordered a set from Mackin Industries as well for his 2k2 Maxima. He'll probably be there with his car & wheels (crosses fingers) at the FGC 3rd all FL meet. Will you be there as well?
for 19x8.5 with +35 or +46 offset, the lip is only 49mm. thats pretty much the lip of my front rim. either offset will fit, but it probably wont look as good.
my rear however is 19x9.5 +36 which offers a 81mm lip.

Why U go blabber your mouth that was gonna be my surprise at the meet.. Now I might think twice before going now..

What tires did you get for your Maxima to go with your GT-V's I am looking hard at the Falkens St-115. I have heard good things about them Quietness, 360 tread rate and are good in the rain. Any suggestions? Keep in mind I can rotate all 4
