window problem

The front passenger side window or its mechanism sounds to be loose or something. When I move the window up and down I here a "klunk" and when the window is down, if you shake the door you can hear something moving in the door.

I called frontier infiniti but they don't have any appointments until the 28th (12 days from now...)
I'm wondering, is there anyway to expedite this process? I'd like to get this looked at, I don't want my window to fall off.

Re: window problem

I've had several window related noises. Once they replaced the window regulator and recently I heard that the bolts that hold the regulator come loose and the dealer said they have been tightening the bolts with loctite and has solved the problem. Another problem has been the wiring inside the door slapping the plastic panel. There is a tech bulletin which involves putting foam inbetween the wires and the panel. Finally, above the driver's door under the headliner there is rubbing of metal on metal which is due to some defect in the spot welds and there is a tech bulletin for this. My dealer pried the metal apart and this worked for about four months but has come back now. I will bring it back to the dealer next week with a list of noises. There is also a buzzing from the steering wheel and a snapping sound from the base of the windshield. This forum has been great since I know these minor problems are common and the dealer has bulletins for most of these. By the way, Peninsula Infiniti has been great and patient and accomodating, I would give them the top rating! I really love my car in all other respects and these are only minor problems.
