Steel Wheels for Snows?

There are a number of threads out here about getting an alternate set of wheels for snows with little to no discussion of "Steel Wheels". What is the conventional wisdom on mounting snows on Steel Wheels? More importantly, can Steel Wheels be found anywhere? I'm not having much luck. Minnesota G-Driver preparing for the onset of winter . . .

A friend of mine suggested I get steel wheels, but I just was against it. I guess I figure something nicer suits my G better. Anyway, you may be interested in this thread.

I've been looking at tirerack and am trying to decide between the Sport Edition wheels or the Kazera's.

I got the Kazeras over the Sport Editions cause I felt the Kazeras were already one of the lowest priced wheels and I didn't want to go any cheaper thinking quality might be compromised. Plus the Tirerack guy said the Kazeras were 7.5" rims like the original non sport rims and the Sport Editions were 7" rims. I got Dunlop M3s put on the rims and the specs for the M3s were 6"-7.5" rims would fit.
