I'm going to be in the market for an 06 G35 Sedan in the next few months and I've come across enough posts on rattles and squeaks to look into the matter further.

I would appreciate a quick vote about your car as many people who have no problems with their cars might not be saying anything about their carefree cars while the peope with the problems are the most boisterous.

only noise that bugs me is the door panel on the driver side rattles when i bump the bass!

 

I voted no rattles because I have ONE rattle that the hubby has heard and I have heard ONCE. I don't hear any other rattles and I don't hear that one with the exception of the few minutes I spent TRYING to hear it and finally heard something. I know several other people have issues and our '05 has quite a few that I do hear but in my case - I musta got a good one or something.

 

None of my Infinitis have rattled or squeaked.

Mine has "ticks" not squeaks or rattles. I still picked "05 Squeaks / Rattles."

 

my 05 sedan w/ sport is in the shop for some squeaks and rattles. the "fix" on the seat for the 05s has appeared in mine (rocking chair/clicking). On top of that my rear axles click and there's a squeaking noise coming from the rear of the car when i go over speed bumps or when the car squats while accelerating. quite annoying. but it doesn't bother me that much. no rattles in the doors or anywhere else. center console squeaks when i lean on it but oh well. i just shouldn't lean on it

 

No rattles, no squeaks, but I don`t blast the sound system above the pain threshold. I think that is what causes a lot of the rattles, etc.

 

passenger side rear window rattles sometimes, center dash a little and my center counsel arm rest when the passsenger puts his/her left arm on it.

 

I have a ticking noise near the drivers side dash/door (once in a while). I also have a squeak in the rear drivers side window. If I hit the window button first thing it will not squeak.

 

Getting my Oil Change and TSB(front doors rattle and squeak) issues resolved
@ Mission Viejo Infiniti.

Hopefully they can fix it cuz it driving me NUTZ!!! , but at least they are
giving me a loaner.

 

I had some "ticks" in my '04, wouldn't really call them rattles, to me a rattle is a sound like someone left a beer bottle in the door, but my '05 has only had two, both were fixed by the dealer, one was the console creaking. IMO, any car that has all the plastic, which is all cars these days, it going to have some occasional creaks and ticks, if you have to LISTEN for one, then it's nothing IMO! Maybe you are just jealous of your husband's '05, LOL!

 

Have to agree Colin, they should drive a Ford, then they'd see........

 

I got my car last week and I was sooo happy thinking to myself "yay no rattles! I dont have a defected rattling car" After a week passed all the rattles came to life =(

 

My 03 Sedan has no squeaks or rattles... unless I load my toolbox in the trunk.

 

How bad can the rattling/squeaks be?
