6MT question and window squeek

I've had my shifter worked on by the dealershi+ 4 times to fix it after they repeatedley broke it. First time they snapped a part off "fixing" a squeek and it rattled like a baby rattle after they touched it (I had to find out on my own after I drove away). I took it in again, they broke something else. At this point if I pushed the shifter down to go to 6th, it would not pop back up. Anyways, the last time they said they fixed it. My question is when going to 5th gear, if I push to the right, my shifter usually jams into the gate as if it is kinda going into reverse (i am not pushing down on the shifter, just up and over to the right, and it is not a forceful push). Very annoying in a 40k car when shifting to 5th gear and you gotta fidget before it actually gets to gear. I don't remember it ever having this problem, is this normal? Infiniti broke my shifter about 4 months ago so its been an ongoing problem.

My second question is, how much does the frame of the car move while driving. It seems that during normal acceleration my rear windows are shifting around in place causing a creek, if I lightly tap the window switch down and the window rolls down about a 1/8 of an inch, it fixes the problem. I've noticed this problem in just about every loaner car as well. Infiniti has changed the seal around the window supposedley. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Same problem with my 05 sedan. I crack the windows just a hair and the noise goes away. I too have been wondering how to fix this. I was wondering if putting a lubricant of some sort would help.

Is this not the issue addressed in the Rear Window TSB?

Nickk,
Sounds like the guide plate to your shifter is not properly aligned. It's a very simple fix and I haven't the slightest clue why the tech at your dealer is so incompetent. Amazing! I would take it else where.
