they use a lighter color on the roof to give you a more open appearance. it's the same reason you paint your ceilings at home with a lighter color than wahat is on your walls. I would imagine a black headliner would feel claustrophobic

I really like Turbo's car and it's pretty rude to call it goofy with all the work he put in it. Don't like it fine... but don't insult him.
