they use a lighter color on the roof to give you a more open appearance. it's the same reason you paint your ceilings at home with a lighter color than wahat is on your walls. I would imagine a black headliner would feel claustrophobic

Honestly bro, I love the Suede Liner you had done to your car. It's extremely classy, luxurious, and plush. I'm so jealous mang!
