Maintenance Time

I am just about at 60K on my 2003 Sedan. In lieu of having the dealer do the complete 60K mile service plan, I am having them do the oil change, coolant system drain and fill, transmission drain and fill ($247 versus $600+).

For ($262) I ordered in cabin microfilter, engine air filter, spark plugs, front brake rotors (all OEM), and stillen MTL MTRX pads ($72) of which I will get my hands dirty and install/replace on my own.

I recently downloaded the 2003 Service Manual and also found some detailed how-to articles on g-owners.com.

Next up are tires and drive belt replacement. For tires I am plan to order Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 225/50YR17 from tirerack.com. I am probably going to have a local, trustworthy mechanic mount the tires and do the belts.

I would appreciate any feedback, recommendations, or comments. Thanks.
