With a vodoo shift **** which will reduce the height by 1 inch
is it easy to remove the stock ****, i have a manual transmission, has anyone done it and can u let me know exactly how to do

To the left, and it's important to immobilize the shaft as stated above, otherwise you could screw up the linkage while taking off the ****. To get to the shaft, you must pop up the trim piece that fits around the boot and crawls up into the dash. It's easy to do. Hold your fingers on the trim piece and push down in the boot area.

Simply attempting to twist the **** off can cause damage to the linkage. It is enough of a concern that Nissan NA put out a Service Procedure Bulletin to do it correctly. See attached.
