Another New Proud G35 Owner

Hey Guys,

Just got my 2003.5 G35s 6MT (Premium Package, Brilliant Silver/Graphite) yesterday, and the last 24 hours in this car have been absolutely HEAVENLY! I'm still trying to perfect my shifting in the lower gears, but once it gets up to 4th, 5th and 6th gear, this thing just launches like a bat outta hell. It is simply exhilarating.

This forum has also been incredibly valuable in leading me to my new G35. All your tips and recommendations sure paid off. Thanks a lot guys! Look forward to the many fun years in my new baby.

Welcome! Be careful, all that power is dangerous... it made me into one impatient SOB driver, whereas I was a fairly courteous driver in my '96 Altima.

Enjoy the ride!

5th and 6th gear? You should not be driving so fast so soon. Haha!! I know exactly how you feel though. This car likes heavy feet on the pedal. Congrats, welcome to the forum and happy posting!!

It's still a G thang!!

Don't launch too fast; the brakes aren't up to it. They will wear out within one year due to defective pads; however, Infiniti will claim it is normal wear. Suggest you change to some harder compound after market pads within 6 months or you will be replacing rotors as well
