Remote Starter
Remote Starter
I just leased a new G35x and want to install a remote starter. Both local dealers say that Infiniti recommends not installing them due to data bus issues and it would void my warranty. Is this BS or not?
I'm not trying to start debate if it's good for the car or not, or what model is best. I just want to get your opinion on if it's feasible and if it will void the warranty.
So far, I love the car!

I've been told the same thing, but they pointed to the fact that I have the Intelligent key and said that would be the problem. I've asked a friend of mine that works at a home/car audio shop to look into it for me and I haven't heard back from him, so I think that he's having difficulty finding info or just forgot to do it - I'll pester him again.
I sure would feel better if I saw someone else with intelligent key and remote start before letting a shop use my G as a guinea pig.
Voiding warranty wouldn't be a very nice thing to do.
