Auto-light setting adjustments

I am trying to find out if anyone else with the Premium Pkg has experienced ultra sensitive on/off headlight settings? My 2000 Maxima seemed to take several seconds (more than 5 secs)before the headlights came on, my new G35 can switch on/off by simply going under a highway overpass or parking in a garage. Seems like there's a 1-2 second delay only. Any way to change this to say 5 secs? Then the lights stay on for a minute before shutting off.

I guess I could always use the manual headlight on/off method...

Works exactly the same way on my 2003.5 6MT garnet fire sedan, and I've been operating the lights manually. Don't know whether this can be adjusted or not.

Same here... I keep mine on, however, as there are a lot of dense woods and shadows around, so I just feel safer going around huge sweeping corners knowing that i'm more visible. There are several studies suggesting that daytime running lights make you much less prone to being in an accident where someone just 'didn't see you', so I guess to me, and especially around here, it just makes sense. These lights don't look fugly in the daytime like many cars', however you'll definitely see the glint.
