if you spent the same amount, and no more on another car, what would it be?

What I wouldn't do is buy a G35X that's just been released at a price that's over invoice and 5 months before the redesigned G35X is introduced. That's what I did and looking back on the decision I got to say it was pretty dumb.

Don't get me wrong. I love my G35, but would I trade the 04 for the 05, sure. It's like asking, "Would you want to be the guy who dated Pamela Anderson just before she got her enhancements?"

Hard to say. At times, I can't believe I spent as much money as I did on my G35 as I did. Whatever happened to thinking $20,000 was more money than you ever wanted to spend on a car

On the other hand, it is still by far the nicest car I've ever driven (not counting just a test drive). Couldn't imagine owning, say, a Malibu

Maybe next time, I can do a combination of cars. Instead of a F150 and a new G35, maybe an econobox for daily driving, and an used G35 manual for fun, weekend, driving. A pickup hasn't turned out to be as useful as I had expected when I was just driving a car.

I had my decision narrowed to a new F-150 Crew Cab and the G35 sedan. The fuel economy was a big reason for going G, not to mention finding the exact car I wanted on the dealer lot still wrappe din plastic.

Between a F150 and a G35, the G35 has the better gas mileage. In my case, I get just over 20+ on the G35, and between 15-16 in my F150.
