^^^^That is what I meant, too large of a sidewall which would look too fat.. I have 8.5 width and +46 offset. Look at my first post and you will see that I have included tire size comparisons.

I agree that the 245/40 will be great if you do not plan to lower, about 1% larger than stock, but A OK....
I had the Falken GBR-451's, they were a pretty good tire for the money. I had no problems, and I got about 18,000 miles on them. My car is lowered and slightly out of alignment because of that.
They are not on the level of the S-03's or T1-R, but good for the money. The BFG KDW2's sound like a good tire also.

I decided to go with the Falken GBR-451's in 245/40/19. After much research these seem to be a great tire for the money, have great dry and wet handling and wear OK. I have heard that they are not as quiet as the Falken ST-115's but not as load as the stock goodyear RS-A's I found more positive info on the falkens than I did on the Toyo T1-R.

I spoke with the Falken tech and he mentioned that the ST-115's had a softer sidewall and our G has a sensitive camber (even dealer and tire place said this). I was interested in the FK-451's and he said that I should be straight. If not, I can try another tire.

You should get 15,000+ miles on the Falken's. I got around 18,000 on mine, and my car is lowered with the Nismo suspension, and therefore is out of factory specs.
I did rotate every 3,000 miles, or so. Also, just something I noticed about the 451's in heavy rain, they do seem to hydroplane some, worse than say S-03's.

last time i checked S0-3's dont hydroplane. Jran... have you personally experienced the S0-3's hydroplane??? If not i'd like to know where you got that info from.
Errrr... My point was that the S-03's DO NOT hydroplane. The Falken 451's are worse than the S-03's in terms of hydroplaning. Sorry for the confusion.
I had S-03's on my 350Z and rarely, if ever, hydroplaned. I could tell (especially on one particular road in heavy rain) that the 451's had a better chance of hydroplaning.
