The G is almost out of the shop...

And I need some advice....

Apparently, they have it all back together, and they are still waiting on 2 parts - a clip for the spoiler, and a bushing for the suspension (driver's rear, I think they said?) - There's a bushing on there, and it's driveable, but it should be replaced.

So my dilemma is - I'm of the mindset that I want my car to be exactly how it was before it got into the accident. Is this too much to ask for the person-at-fault's insurance company, which is paying for everything, including my rental? It's been over 2 months, and I know this will be a sticking point at $48/day :-). The repair shop contends that the car will be totally driveable, and when the parts come in, they just pop them on? How can I hold them to that?

TIA for any advice, I thought this would be a no-brainer, but little things always pop up...

If the repair facility says it is safe then they assume the reponsibilty if something happens. If something does happen and your car goes back into the shop then the person that hit you insurance company has fulfilled their requirement and I think you will have a hard time getting another rental, it is then between you and the body shop. If the body shop happens to be Infiniti then you can prob get a loaner.
