Combined crash rating for cars. G35 not in the safest 4%

This looks like a very interesting website. The G35 score is 75. 70 is the cutoff to be in the top 4%. I'm surprised at how well Acuras score.
Lowest RISK scores:
Acura RL - 56
Lincoln Town Car - 58
Volvo S80 - 61
Acura TL - 62
Acura MDX - 66
Ford Crown Victoria - 66
Mercury Grand Marquis - 66
Mitsubishi Galant - 66
Lincoln LS - 68
Acura TSX - 68
Highest RISK scores:
Honda Insight - 167
Scion xA - 158
Mazda B-Series - 152
Ford Ranger - 152
Toyota Tundra - 150
Toyota Tacoma - 149
Ford Focus - 149
Nissan Sentra - 148
Nissan Frontier - 148
Kia Spectra - 146

If you look at the data for an 05 4 dr, there are many categories that are NOT RATED. Those categories get assigned an "average risk" rating, which could be better or worse than the car will actually acheive.
This is a great general comparison to look at. Just know that the data is incomplete on a lot of cars.

I do know that the sedan received a "poor" side crash test rating recently, but it received a "best in class" award for rear crash test from another analyst too. It seems like a lot of these tests have different variables so it makes it difficult to tell how a car scores relative to other cars. :/

Because many cars are not rated, and the way the calculation is done, this is a completely useless comparison. Just look at the Volvo S80 and the Volvo V70. According to this, the V70 is the same as a G35 (75) and the S80 is rated 58 (the third best car). Almost the whole difference is due to the fact that the V70 wasn't rated in one test (NHTSA offset frontal). Even more ridiculous is that the XC90, the AWD wagon, essentially the same car as the V70 but with a slightly HIGHER rollover risk, scores a 60 and the V70 scores 75. Again this is because the V70 wasn't rated in that one test and the XC90 was. Look at it another way, this analysis says that the G35 is as safe as a Volvo wagon. I doubt that, but I'll take it!
