Help on rim fit... please 19X8.0

Hey, I just bought a new set of rims for my G and they are 19X8.0 and I just bought a set of 245/40/19 for them I know the tire is on a few set of 19's that people have on the forum but will it run with an 8.0 ? Will I have any problems with rubbing or anything? Its now lowered or anything just the stock non-sport suspension. Thanks!

You should be fine as long as your running the right offsets :-)

If that means both the same up front and back or something, I am going to run 245/40/19 front and back on the 19X8.0 and the lug pattern if 5 just like the stock rim? Thanks ?

Yes, the tires will fit the rim but to determine if the rims will fit your car you need to make sure you have the right offset. (Where did you buy the wheels?)

FYI, the offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel.

I bought them from Diablo, they are the Diablo Vienna 19x8.0 chrome rim, and on the side of the box it says offset 20, will that work?

No way. That offset is WAY too small. For 8" wide wheel you would need an offset around +33. I hope you can get your money back.

EDIT: I just saw those wheels and they are hideous!

All you gotta do is check the offset and make sure you get your car chamberd.

On a 8" wheel you would want a +32 to +37 offset. I am running a +35 offset on a 8" wheel, you could go a little lower or a little higher....

chamberd????

IMO the rims are pretty raunchy but then again everyone has their own tastes. If you like it then thats all that matters but still a +20 offset wont work
