06x Navi console issue...HELP!!!

To all those with the OEM Navi option... i need your advice/opinion, my car is about a week old, i noticed something as i was tilting my navi screen. As i tilt my navi screen the brushed aluminum plate around the navi controls on the top right side seems to move as i tilt my navi. When i tilt the navi all the way back the aluminum plate moves in, and as i tilt my navi forward it pops out... for a $ 3500 option it is a bit annoying. I have also found that there is a bit of resistance/friction at that point.

Is this a problem, has anyone else noticed this... corrected this... i need some advice before I approach my dealer...

I'd definitlely go to the dealer for service - my Navi Screen moves w/little friction [just enough resistance to hold the screen position] and never touches the Aluminum trim.

Hope this helps...

Yeah that doesnt sound right at all. Go get that looked at. My unit works fine and so far no weird creaking like that, (knock on wood).
BTW its 1800 option, 3500 was for yer premium.
Then again, since you cant have nav w/o premium, you can look at it as 5300 option. Use that number if the dealer gives u any lip.
