How much power can the G35X Tranny handle
Not sure, but someone posted here that we have the same tranny as the Q45 which is a much beefier car. Curb weight of over 4000 lbs and 340 hp. This is one area that I'll guess us AT guys have the advantage....modding. Our trannies will most likely take some additional power no problem. In general, MT cars need clutches before the AT's need beefing up. But maybe our MT's are strong, too, who knows?

Actually, the current MTs seem to be very strong, and the clutches doing quite well even with decent modding. But no way a stock clutch is going to hold 400 WTQ for very long (clutches rated by torque capacity, not HP).

I'd see what they have to say. I'm guessing a nice tranny cooler would be a must- Not sure about the transfer case, though they probably use a similar system in the FX 4.5
