My G35 Vs S2000 on the way to Vegas

Had a little fun last night. Me and the wife decided to do a quick turn around trip to Vegas. My sedan only has 2700 miles on it and thought a trip to Vegas would be nice. Just as I was getting into Vegas, a guy in a Black S2000 rolled up next to me....sort of. He was getting frustrated with some of the traffic and was driving like a jack ***. Well we both happend to clear traffic and we had 4 lanes wide open to our selves with at least a mile or 2 of no traffic in front. We both jumped on it at about the same time from about 80mph and I pulled about a car and held him to 135mph! We must have gone a mile or so and I let off. He was then able to pass. My wife didn't realize how fast we were going..the car felt so good. Super stable and smooth. This is not something I would normally do, but everything was just right that I could not pass it up. I guarantee that guy in the S2000 was scratching his head and learned some respect for the G35.

I had a similar encounter with a black M3 coming back from a nigthclub. Now, I have my respect for 330 plus hp M. But, I had just Installed a Injen intake and exhaust. I don't know if the M was loaded with people or there was a rookie behind the wheel but, I was on his *** (had dark tints). The M even took off when I got stuck behind some granni. I was able to catch up and give the M a good run. I don't know how many horsies I got from the upgrade. But, he was spooked. I love my G.

thats actually pretty surprising. I own both an s2000 and a g35 sedan/auto and my s2000 pulls on my g35 by about 3 cars from 60 to 130 or so. Maybe you caught him in the wrong gear?

Not sure what he may or may not have done wrong, but I know he down shifted pretty hard. Being a big fan of the S2000, i wanted to see what would happen. I wouldn't expect to be able to do it again with as light as that car is, but it sure was fun and I know he had to be puzzled.
