How to get out of a lease

The new g35 is coming in april at the auto show. How can I get out of my lease? What options do I have?

Swaplease.com

Swaplease.com is probably the best web site in existence. If you have a reasonbly low monthly payment you should be able to exit you lease. The out of pocket is marginal. I can honestly say I got out of my coupe in 1 weeks time (paperwork and entire process took about 3 weeks). If you payment is high, you may have to incentivize the deal.

It's a no brainer...good luck.

If you've only got a few months left in your lease (or will by the time the new one comes out), talk to your dealer. They sometimes have ways of pulling you forward into a new car without penalties.

Find out how much you owe on your car, then find out how much you can sell your car for. If it's an even steven typa deal you can get out of your lease. Basically, if you owe 20k on the overall value of your car, and you could get 20 for it, you're done with the lease if some one buys out the entire car.

I agree with MikeyMike...selling the car can be a good option, especially if you have gone over on the miles.

I just leased the car in July, but coming from a Mercedes I am disappointed with the feel of the car, especially the interior. I am paying 512 a month and I have every option except satellite radio and it is a g35x. Silver on black.

I can get a similar lease deal on a new IS250 AWD so i'm willing to sacrifice the power and handling for some more luxury, lexus style.

OMG...Check the oven.......your 'goose' is cooked!. $512 a month I'd luv ta see the 'cap cost' and the 'residual value' on the lease? I got a bridge for sale ta go with your new IS250. Happy Thanksgiving!

Guys, relax.
$512 is not that much.
You also don't know what the terms, conditions, credit score, miles, etc are.

I pay $539 a month for my G35 with Prem and Sport and Sirius.
I have 740+ credit, but my term was only 36 months, as well as
18K miles a year AND my drive off was only $250 (including all taxes and
1st months payment). And that was a lease based on $411 over invoice for the car.

As others have said, if your buy out is about what the car is worth, you
can sell it to someone whose willing to just buy out the lease.

Good luck. Personally, I think you'll regret getting the underpowered IS250 AWD. It's surely nicer (more upscale) inside, but it's also MUCH smaller
in there and feels cramped.

I paid nothing up front. I walked out of the dealer paying my first months payment, and DMV fees. I dont think $512 is bad for a car with a 39,300 sticker price.

Anyone whos hating, if you value luxury over power you'll sit in the Lexus and see what I mean. I love the G, but to me luxury is more important than power.

Btw, I have navi and every option excluding Sat radio, and its a G35x if that makes a difference.

15K Miles a Year
39 Months

790 Credit Score

I dont feel like the payment is high, considering I did not put a penny down, but the dealer gave me an offer I couldn't refuse on a trade in.
