Roll fenders? How much?

Hey, I just got some new rims for my car but my rears are rubbing the out side of the tire. How much would a body shop charge to roll the fenders, or what is everyone doing? Thanks

Take your rims back and get the right offset.
Did you lower the car after getting your rims or did they rub from the get go?

As for the fender rolling, its a gamble from the research I've done. Some have done it themselves and the paint began to chip. Others have cut the lip off, which might be a better route to consider. Price? Maybe $100 to $200 bucks?

There is a right way to do it though....if a body shop has the below tool (the ones I have talked to use a wooden bat) this would be the right way to have it done. So far, no body shops that I have called have such a tool.

Good luck

If I were you go back and get the right offset or get tires which are not as wide. If you want to roll them, your paint WILL chip, or if you wanna roll them at a body shop it will cast you atleast $250 per fender. I have already asked. Goodluck.

I'm telling you, rolling fenders is not for the faint of heart. I had an M3 (e36 body) and I tried putting some staggered 18's. Well it rubbed in the rear, of course...and after doing the research and talking to body shops and forums, I decided against doing it. I couldn't take anyone in the back seat. If you really want to do this, expect to pay a lot of money. Is it really worth that rather than just going back and getting a slightly smaller tire where you would never notice the difference? Just my advice.
