If you paint the sideskirts and the rest of the unpainted bottom plastic of the car you will definitely improve the look of your car.

But you're still going to have that huge gap between the tire and fender.

I'm in Southern California, the handling is great, I haven't seen any understeering yet but that's maybe I only had them for 3 days.

The reason I putted the headunit in the glove compartment is because the High School that I go to are alot of people who will try to brake in and try to jack the headunit, this way I close the cover so noone will see it. I'll be out of High School in 2 months, so maybe later I will get the skyline DD kit.

The tire size is 275\30\19 and 245\35\19.

So vodkarocket, what you are saying is that if I get the Eiback Pro-kit, I might rub a little? And if I go any lower than pro-kit I will definetely rub and need to increase my negative camber?

Eventhough you directed the question to vodkarocket with a +38 offset you are off by +7 from where the wheels should be in addition to a 275 tire the brand you have helps you as it stands now so with the pro-kit you will rub spacers 5mm or rolling the finders will solve it.

Huh? Are you saying 5mm spacers will help in the rear??? If so, that's incorrect.

Nice rims.. Was going to go with those but thought I would save some $$$ and get the coupe rims. GOt kids on the way. I got the Tein Htechs and Tokico D SPecs to keep the ride close to stock. I might have the get different springs for the front b/c i don't like the way the rear looks lower than the fronts..

How many times do people gotta answer the same question for you??????????

Do you want us to hold your hand to buy the wheels and tires and then reassure you they are OK on your car????????!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU KEEP ASKING THE SAME QUESTION ALL THE TIME...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, is it that time of the month for you? Chiiiillllllll........

How many people have I asked about understeer 2 or 3? Wow, that's a lot. You know what, I should just ask 1 person and make my decision from there right? Screw getting as much info as I can right? Polling/questioning more than 1 person is something that is absolute nonsense to you, right?

I've already taken the plunge once on rims, and after a little while I got sick of them and sold them. I don't know about you, but spending money on rims is a big deal for me and I want to do it right this time around.

I think it's very amusing how you yourself have a pair of rims sitting in your garage that you're planning on selling, so you can go down a different path/look. But you get irritated at me for being trigger shy and really trying to do research. This forum is a tool to gather information, and I will continue to ask as many sedan owners with aftermarket rims the same questions until I can come up with a conclusive analysis on what I want to do.

Thankyou for your help

No it's not that time of the month!! But yes I get irritated because in previous threads many of us have taken the time to offer good info on understeer, staggered, offsets, wheels and tire sizes and even style.

Then you show up and ask again the same thing and it's like you're not reading or ignoring the other advice we've given you. You have to admit you have been all over the place with this thing.

As for my wheels in the garage...I couldn't care less if I sold them or not and they're there because it is winter...and yes I bought another set for next spring which by the way is staggered.

I'll chill now...we're cool!

You're right, I definitely have been all over the place with my rim project . But I haven't been ignoring anyone's advice, I've actually been digesting it and passing it on to many confused members such as myself.

I know want some 19's that are fairly lightweight. Just the staggered thing is killing me. Understeer is really a matter of opinion, I guess. I've heard from some people with the stagger in the back that it hasn't created any additional understeer. While another guy told me he had staggered and didn't like it, switched to 8.5 all around and felt a lot better and more neutral.

Chico, we're definitely cool mang ...believe me, I 've learned a lot from you guys and I am very grateful. If this site didn't exist I wouldn't even bother buying another set of rims without info again.

G35r1d3h....Want to let me drive your car so I can see how the staggered setup handles?

I don't know where you got your info from, but you are wrong. 5mm spacers would effectively turn the +38 ofset to +33, which is the exact opposite of what he needs.

Your best bet is to stay with an Eibach Pro-Kit drop and a fender rolling as a precaution. If you really, really want to make the wheels work with a more severe drop it will call for an increase in your negative camber- this will obviously increase tire wear.

I almost went so far as to have my wheels milled /machined down a few millimeters by a custom fabricator, but was worried that I would mess up the structural integrity.

I think I'll go with Eiback Pro-Kit, so that way I don't have to deal with all that custom stuff.

Mikey, if you really want to know and get the feel how staggered setup is, then ur welcome to test my car and see how it is. I didn't really care if it would understeer I just wanted the looks. PM me if you are interested.
