24.9 mpg in the 05X
I didn't mention the mileage I get around town in my 05 X because I am embarassed
My wife in her 04 Armada doesn't get much worse! Oh well, I knew getting into it that the X was gonna be crappy on gas. My only question is to Infiniti/Nissan. How do various versions of the VQ vary in mileage so much? I guess gearing really makes a difference. Makes sense that they should use another gear in the autos to increase highway MPG.

Only mods are full Grounding Gear kit, Z-tube and K&N. Just passed 5600 miles today. I think a big part of the mileage is that when I filled up, the 93 octane was not oxygenated at all, just pure gas (southern MO). Here in St Louis, where I live they have that oxygenated crap and with that I only get around 23 mpg at the same speed.
Is your 23 an over all average??
If so that's excellent as well.
