Has anyone ever heard of Formula One Tint?
I just got a quote today to get the windows tinted in my sedan. They told me that they used Formula One performance films. They have two non-metalic models, the Classic Series, which is dyied, and the Pinnacle Series which is ceramic. They quoted me $215.00 for all windows for the dyied, and $315.00 for the ceramic one. The only problem is that I have never heard of this brand. Any thoughts??

I am looking at the Pinnacle series which is Ceramic, so no radio interference. How do you all think that the 35% all the way around would look with my IP/wheat sedan?

brasil...
Your in luck. I have the Formula ONE Premier series tint. I got it done for $230 20% on all four doors and back window. So far, after 5 months i love the tint. It is a metallic tint and has a greenish/yellow hue that looks amazing on my IP sedan. If i were to choose between the classic and pinnacle i would get the pinnacle if you want to spend the money. Here are some pics to help you make your decision.
They say it will have some interfernce with radio for the premier but i have yet to encounter any interference with the radio.

Thanks G! THey quoted me $215 for the Classic series, and $315 for the Ceramic Pinnacle. They did tell me that the Premier series is metalized, and could cause interference. Is the their a color difference from the Premier to the Pinnacle?

There is definitely a color difference from the premier to the pinnacle... like you can see in the pics the premier has a greenish/yellow hue to it in certain light and at certain angles... the pinnacle however is not a reflective tint and is a very black colored tint. The classic is a lighter black at 35% where pinnacle is much darker at 35% They had samples of all the tints at the shop i went to here in Escondido, California. I was pulled between the premier and pinnacle. I decided i didnt want to spend $300 on the pinnacle because it wasnt worth it to me but if you want to spend it then by all means be my geust, you wont be dissapointed. The only thing i dont like is how the B-pillar is black and the tint is a different color. However the Pinnacle would match perfect with the black color of the B-Pillar. Either way it will look great on Ivory Pearl.
Now I have a dillema. There is a shop in my area that does carry the FOrmual one Pinnacle series, but they do not remove the door panels to install the fil. There is another company that does only carries Solar Guard and 3M film, and do remove the door panels to install the film. I asked around, and it seems that the shop that does NOT carry the Forlula One product does a better install, but I prefer the Formula Pinnacle Series because it is ceramic and Does not contain dye.

The shop i took mine to to get the Formula ONE tint didnt take off my door panels and IMO it still looks every bit as good as any tint job i've seen.
BTW that pinnacle tint looks awesome on the M45.
