Center Console rattles (2004) ??
Has anyone experienced center console rattle problems on the 2004 sedan? I get noise from the console as well as the shifter plate (AT).
If so, have you been able to get it adjusted or repaired satisfactorily?
(I am aware that there is a TSB on this issue for the 2005 models, but my dealer usually gives me the "that doesn't apply to your car..." story)

Check the ashtray, my '04 had a rattle in the door of the tray, if I pressed on the door, the rattle stopped. What the dealer says in this case makes sense, the console is very different on the '05-'06.
