19" Axis SuperMesh on 05

Here are some pics of my new wheels. Much thanks to those who helped me with offset/size, etc.

Just one note, if you don't lower your car too much you can probably run 275/35 in the rear and not rub. That size matches better to the stock diameter and gives you a bit more protection for your wheels.

Here are some pics of my 19" axis wheels as well. I've had these on my car for 2-3 years. I just recently went staggered. <IMG]https://g35driver.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=28620&stc=1&d=11334947 73

Nice looking sedan. The rear apron and side sills look great. What are they and where did you get them?

MESH stils looking good on any G. I love MESH style but after owning serveral BMW and the pain of getting the STOCK BBS cleaned. I vowed not get own a MESH wheel again. But they do look good almost on any car.

Thanks for the compliments, again I wouldn't have even made the plunge without help from the many helpfull contributors on this forum.

Since I have gotten several PM's on details and feedback. Here goes.....

1) 05 AT Sedan non-sport with Tein H-Techs.
2) Front: 19x8.5 245/35 (+40mm)
3) Rear: 19x9.5 275/30 (+45mm)
4) Not sure why the picture looks so raked in the front, in person it really doesn't look that raked forward.
5) Bought them from some guy on ebay. He said he bought a lot of Axis old inventory and then was liquidating them. So far so good.....hope they don't break on me!
6) Serveral people have PM'ed me about the handling/understeer or rubbing of the staggered setup. No rubbing here, just follow what everyone else is recommending for offsets and sizes, they know what they are talking about and won't steer you wrong. As far as handling/understeer, seems fine to me, but like many other members on the board I have another toy for the track. See attached. So I really can't help you in the handling feedback, since I don't track the car. I can say that whatever sprited driving I do on the street has not exhibited more understeer than normal.
