I am well aware personally at the "gaps" in our search function. I have fallen victim to it a few times and not asked because of the dreaded (and posted by me) do a search statement. I think if people would says in their post that they tried to do a search and didn't come up with enough it would help. Also, I know there are times when people will give a very basic answer but then gently suggest the search function - not a bad idea IMHO. We were all new at one time and for me at least this was my introduction to such forums as well. I'd never seen a forum before this one.
