INFO - 2 weeks with Blitz SUS Power Air Cleaner: 26030

Paid $200. Took me 1 hour 15 minutes to install - I'm slow.... I noticed that my car was getting same power&speed yet while running 3-400 RPM less. You can hear the whistling sound once you hit above 4000 RPM. Pretty cool. After the first week - I decided to drive the whole week under 3000 RPM - on freeway I can almost hit 80 under 3000 RPM.... This may sound boring...but on average I get between 19-20 MPG w/ 91 octane. I now average 21 MPG!!!!!! when driving below 3000 RPM. Cool but a little boring. Planning to get the BORLA dual exhaust next - in a week or 2.

05 G35 Sedan - 6 Sun Hyperground - Blitz SUS.

I don`t see how an intake can change your gear ratios. Please explain.

Gear ratios are mechanical and can't be changed by an intake.

I don't either. Could be his "butt" dyno isn't calibrated correctly.

Hey kent, why not get your car dynoed and let us know the results.

He didn't say his ratio changed, he's just saying he adjusted his driving style and in 6th @ 3k he can almost get to 80, so there's no point going above it... And he noticed that now he gets great gas mileage.
