Z-tube is a must plus it's a do-it yourself mod.

1st mod = Twin turbo and NOS

All of the above are great suggestions. What are you lookig to do first...performance or looks first?

Looks wise, I think rims would make the biggest impression. Volks are always real popular (I just got some myself )....depends on what look you want too as well as other factors (weight, price...)

Performance, Ztube is probably one the most popular mods around. Like GeezerB said, its a do it yourself mod. Coupled with a nice rear section exhaust (Stillen, HKS, Weldina)....another bolt on do-it yourself mod. Full Cat back exhaust if you want a more performance oriented exhaust.

You can't go wrong!
Good luck

First Mod......

Do something really diffrent. Weld the back door shut then you'll have the
longest COUPE on the planet, not to mention the biggest trunk and the
biggest back seat of any coupe any where

WTH ..loll

maybe he can try the Super Duper Super-Turbocharger AKA
Turbonator + the little spinners at the exhaust tips !?

but for real, if i would choose again, i would start with Tony's
plenum spacer, which is a easy DIY and have nice gains

good luck modding

For aesthetics, go with something to make your car 'different,' add a spoiler, tint, wheels.
Then let the engine mods begin!
the factory 350Z tubes are useless, IMO.
If you're going to spend the money, get a polished, chrome, or CF intake tube with an open element airfilter. u get the performance AND dresses up ya engine.
my $.02

Useless? The performance gains are debatable, but it really does make the engine sound better when you get on the pedal. You can't deny that!
I treat it as a cheap mod that keeps on giving.

Wheels will give you looks, but in most cases will sacrafice performance. The notion that bigger wheels yield better performance is almost always backwards..........
