Fogged headlights?

I did a search for this and did not find any useful info. It appears my headlights are fogged or have a layer of film accomulated from inside. Is this something that dealer can, and would fix? I believe it would require taking the headlights apart. This is very annoying at nights on an almost new car. Any ideas?

I work at a dealership. If the car is in warranty they will either replace the headlight lens or at least try to clean them up. Usually they replace them. I know where I work we would. Usually the seal breaks letting moisture in the lens causing them to fog up or have that effect. Hope this helps.

What dealership, djcrzyc? PM me if you'd rather not show the world. I live in the DFW area.

I thought mine were "fogged on the inside" until I tried Mcquires Plastic X cleaner on the outside. They now look good as new. Try using a quality cleaner made for plastic headlight covers before you make a service appointment. You may be surprised.

I have a simular problem with my G with less than 7K miles on it but my 02 Maxima had the same fog I was told it's a result of my HID with the Maxima so I am assuming a little fog is normal?... However I will give the plastic cleaner a try as well. We only have one Infiniti Dealer in Hawaii and if I keep getting on their nerves they may not let me get a loaner whenever I need service!

It's really common, and it's on the outside. Use 3M Clear Plastic Polish, then coat it with a clear plastic detailing spray.
