Yeah, I decide to stop by local Elk Grove Infiniti after work and bought a set of charcoal colored all season floor mats. I'd figure I get the darker color to match the dark dash even though i have the stone interior. They are floor mats anyway. I'd just laid them on top of the factory carpeted Infiniti logoed mats for now.... maybe I'll remove the the carpetted floor mats later to save some weight added by the all season rubber mats.
Got them for $81.89 after tax. (dealer list price was $76)
EverythingG35 (g35parts.com) had them for $71 but shipping was like $12 and so I saved a buck or two and had it right there. My order for splashguards from EverythingG35 is a day late but I did save over 20 bucks. For clear corners and K&N filter, Elk Grove Infiniti charges $65 for clears and $50 for the filter. I'll be getting these 2 upgrades/mods at EverythingG35 though.

It's interesting to see a lot a comments on this subject, which I had asked for anyway, so thanks to all. On a side note, hopefully I'll get my splash guards at the door steps today so I can install and go drive it some more. Finally got it added to my maxima's insurance policy too which I'll discuss in another thread.

I was going to get a set, but decided against it. First it doesn't rain that much in SoCal (except last year). Second, I figure I will use my carpeted mats until they wear down (4-5 years). Then I can go ahead and buy all season mats. Not really seeing a point in having 2 sets of mats for the car.

I was temporally using a set of black rubber ones out of my truck, I didn't have a sliding problem with them due to the rubber teeth on the bottom but they were not deep like the Infiniti ones.

I agree, and see it quite frequently.
I have a friend who places a small towel there and at the back of the entire mat to catch run off. Just needs to be washed and replaced periodically and beats wrecking the carpets.

Got them with my 05X and they are well worth it. I have always had OEM rubber mats in all my cars and leave them in all year - primarily because I hate cleaning carpeted mats.
Just so you know, on the Sedan, the passenger front mat lays a bit awkward due to the humpy nature of the floor near the center column. Also, there is no anchor for the front passenger mat which is a bit of a pain because it does move if the passenger moves their feet around a lot...but the other ones fit perfectly.
