Great to hear that the car is much the same today as it was when new.
While there are some creaks here and there from the interior plastics, the more I drive this car, the more I realize what a good car it is.
Reading this only helps to reaffirm my assumptions.


This car, knock on wood has been great. The left rear door, left front vent, and rear parcel all creak. Though it's pretty superficial, normally I'd freak out about this stuff- The vent does bug. However, even with some of the low rent plastics, the foundation seems pretty solid. And even with the X, every time I give it some stick, it puts a smile on my face. No, it's not a muscle car, though it's feels as quick down low as my 89 Mustang.
Perfect for stop light grand prix against the unsuspecting 325i driver.
Now if they would only offer a 6-speed with the X, the trip to Tahoe would be as fun as driving once there. (By the way, these cars charge through the snow)
